We are pleased to share the first chapter in a series of films for SPG named Forest • Craft • Place. We are documenting the production of the new neighbourhood ‘Trähusen' in Bäverbäcken, Tyresö. The main purpose of the short format films is to showcase the sustainable partnership between Scandinavian Property Group and OBOS, who are supplying the development's modular wood construction.

The first chapter, ‘Forest' captures the process of how locally sourced Swedish wood is transformed into new homes by the employees at OBOS factories in Myresjö and Vrigstad. Working together, they use their craftsmanship and modern machinery to produce the 424 modular wood elements that will serve as the foundation for a new neighbourhood, overlooking the golf course and nature reserve in Tyresö.
